PICNICKING ON THE CAP D'ANTIBES

The best way to find the ideal spot for your picnic is to take the coastal footpath known as "chemin des douaniers". The approximate 2-hour walk along this path will take you around the Cap d'Antibes, and you'll be able to discover the natural beauty of this site, still preserved to this day. The track mainly follows the beaches or the cliff edges, and has in some places been cut directly into the rock. It is therefore advisable to wear good shoes and to avoid taking it in bad weather or high winds.

You'll be sure to find the perfect picnic spot, by a small cove or under the shade of a pine tree, and you'll definitely be enchanted by the view.

The "chemin des douaniers" coastal footpath starts at the Garoupe parking and ends at the villa Eilen Roc. Those pictures, taken all along the way, showcase all of its beauty and variety:
